Green Deal: enshrine the goal of climate neutrality in law from 2050

The European Commission presented the European Green Deal on December 11, 2019. It sets out how Europe is to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and outlines a roadmap for a more sustainable EU economy. The climate and environmental challenges in all policy areas are to be turned into opportunities and the transition is to be fair and inclusive for all.
